With new apps, channels, and features popping up on social media, it’s easy to get lost in the clutter, but there are a few TikTok creators who continue to keep me engaged.
Finances, networking, and miniature items might sound like an odd fit for TikTok, but these creators show that it’s possible to be educational and entertaining:
Vivian | Your Rich BFF
Even though finances sound like a stressful and complicated topic, it’s not for Vivian | Your Rich BFF. Vivian has become my go-to for understanding everything from investments to money saving tips to predicting layoffs. She even dives into social justice with videos on how French colonization used debt to hold Haiti hostage and the ways racist financial policies have and continue to stop Black families from accumulating wealth.

With each post, she keeps her perspective on money fresh and she encourages audiences to think differently about our financial systems. Her advice reassures me that it’s possible to build a solid foundation for your finances with a balanced and manageable approach. Among the TikTok creators out there, Vivian understands how to make content about money relatable.
Fishbowl
Another app? *Insert eyeroll* Sharing an app focused on workplace advice and networking might not sound like TikTok content. After watching the creators on Fishbowl’s account, you’ll think otherwise. The TikTok creators on this account know how to make scenarios in the workplace understandable and funny without making you feel annoyed.

Whether you’re joining the workforce or near retirement, Fishbowl’s creators understand what you go through and don’t skirt around any issues. They’re not afraid to share some of the most shocking posts on Fishbowl, poke fun at every type of person in virtual meetings, and give honest opinions about WFH setups. If you’re feeling strung out from work, visit their account to blow off some steam and get a good laugh.
The Fashion Couple
Fashion is one of my favorite things and The Fashion Couple is excellent at giving fashion inspiration that’s fun and exciting. Instead of providing tips for styling like many influencers out there, they use simple movements to snap into coordinated outfits.
@thefashioncouple Throwing it back😎Which look is your favourite guys? Comment which fast foods we should try next?👇🏾 Hats by @thebuckshat #foryou #fy #style #thefashioncouple #tiktokfashion #fastfood #viral #fashiontiktok #tfc ♬ Outfit inspire food - THEFASHIONCOUPLE
When The Fashion Couple shows up on my For You Page, I don’t need a reason to stop my scroll. Their colorful outfits and fun way of showing audiences who they are behind the clothing and accessories stops me from moving past their content. Their comparisons of His & Her fashion, outfits for award shows, and their styles in response to comments will have you coming back for more inspo.
I The Crafter
Hungry? Me too! Love crafts? If you do, then you’ll want to check out I The Crafter, a creator who makes food in miniature size from polymer clay. As someone who made their own Star Wars themed Christmas ornaments from polymer clay, I understand that making these tiny items is no easy feat. That’s why I enjoy their videos that address common misconceptions about their craft and answer questions about what it’s like to create with polymer clay.
@ithecrafter Replying to @starfloam Rizz bread has taken over my account. I don’t know who I am anymore #polymerclay #miniaturefood ♬ Excuse me BRUHH - Castro🇭🇹
There is no shortage of TikTok creators who are crafters, but I The Crafter manages to keep me coming back with each small detail they add to their work. Plus, they entertain my taste buds as well. Can’t get any better than that.
Blogilates
I first found Cassey Ho on the workout app FitOn. Following my workout instructor on social media didn’t seem like a priority at first, until I saw Cassey posting about some of my favorite things: Clever workout tips, stories behind her designs, and her personal and professional journey. On blogilates, she’s not afraid to shy away from questions about her past as a bikini model, cultural heritage, or design flops.

One thing I admire about Cassey is that among the countless TikTok creators she takes the time to listen to her followers. When they have suggestions for improvement or ask questions about what’s next, she takes the time to hear them out. And, as her videos show, she even adds followers’ suggestions to her designs when they tell her she might be missing something.
